TROCELLEN ITALIA SPA (Trocellen Italia SPA), Italy
During the last 30 years TROCELLEN has worked intensively in the insulation business, developing materials able to increase energy efficiency and comfort to satisfy continuous market requests (new building design but also new EU rules, i.e. CE marking), and we keep working on it.
Trocellen has a broad experience on producing blanket, sheet materials for insulation markets: Due to the continuous challenges, we are now able to produce cross linked polyethylene foams (XLPE) in different thicknesses and density and with different physical and mechanical properties but, more importantly we can tailor the foam to the customers’ request. It is possible by adding other chemicals/materials (e.g. fire retardants, fibers, copolymers, functionalized polymers, etc.) or acting on the raw materials properties.
“Trocellen is the European polyolefin-foam-solution provider. Through continuous innovations and successful partnerships we dedicate ourselves to one goal: protecting and comforting humanity.“ We have 600 employees at eight sites and many cooperating companies (http://trocellen.com/). Sustainability and environment are key concerns, our insulation products have been mapped by LEED certification process, we are part of green building councils in Europe.
PAREXGROUP MORTEROS SA (PAREX GROUP SPAIN), Spain
Parex Group is part of Materis, a leading global supplier of specialty chemicals for construction markets. ParexGroup is a foremost international dry-mix mortar manufacturer for the building industry which has more than 35 years of experience in the mortars industry.

FLAG SPA (FLAG), Italy
Flag S.p.A has been founded 50 years ago with the name Flexon Italiana. In collaboration with the group Montecatini Edison it starts manufacturing synthetic materials for the agricultural sector, specifically waterproofing membranes for polyethylens tunnels, protected cultures and kit for quick waterproofing of water containing areas.
In 1970 the company changes its name into Flag S.p.A and increases its business areas. Thanks to Flag S.p.A synthetic PVC membranes are introduced in Italy for industrial roofing and the first examples of underground waterproofing start to be conveived. The success is immediate and allows the company becoming a undebated market leader. Since then Flag S.p.A. has continued developing and proposing innovative waterproofing solutions that respond to the most demanding technical requests worldwide.
At the end of 2007, FLAG Spa enters the French group Soprema leader in the production of roofing and waterproofing materials, thanks to the collaboration of 4.496 people all over the world and a turnover by 1.497 million Euros in 2012.
The principal objective for Flag S.p.A is to develop solutions in order to increase thermical insulation efficiency of systems based on multi-layer membrane/insulation for roofing applications.
